November 14 is celebrated as Children’s Day or Bal Diwas every year in India. The special day is celebrated in remembrance of India’s first Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru, born on November 14, 1889, he was also known as Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru.
Nehru, who was fondly called Chacha Nehru or simply Chachaji, was very popular amongst children for his love. November 14 marks Nehru’s devotion to welfare, education and development of children and young people.
The day marking childhood was celebrated with fun and frolic at AVN Vida International School on Monday, 15th November 2021. It all began with a special school assembly with vibrant performance by our beloved students. Many event was conducted on the special occasion for our valuable students. It was a fun- filled day for the students as they danced to peppy numbers in the break and shared their delicious food with their classmates. The campus was buzzing with excitement and joy. The celebrations came to an end with the distribution of chocolates to the students as a small token of love and affection by the school.
