GLOBAL HAND WASHING DAY CELEBRATION
Global Hand Washing Day is celebrated every year on 15th October, A special occasion where we teach our young learners about the importance of keeping their hands clean and the role it plays in staying healthy. It's an opportunity to instill good hygiene habits and we celebrated this day on 26th of October with our AVN VIDA little ones.
Hands can carry germs, and washing them is like magic that makes the germs disappear. Facilitators explained tiny-tots the concept of "invisible dirt" that can make them sick and how handwashing can help and keep those germs away.
PPI children enjoyed singing a fun hand washing song while demonstrating the steps - Wet, Soap, Scrub, Rinse, and Dry. Facilitators encouraged them to use soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Steps were explained using visual aids like pictures or posters to show the proper way to wash hands.
Nursery & PPII Children have done a fun activity with pepper and liquid hand wash, where the pepper floating in water moves away when touched with soap like the germs running away from soap.
Global Hand Washing Day is an opportunity to empower our tiny-tots with the knowledge and skills they need to stay healthy.
"Happy Global Hand Washing Day!"
