World smile day
The first Friday of October is World Smile Day (October 6) with a fascinating story created by a commercial artist named Harvey Ball. This day came for his creation of a smiley face. These little yellow faces are more than just a symbol; they are the power of smiling. AVN Vida International School organized various activities that children can do on a special day. One of the best ways to introduce children to celebrating these events is by telling them the history behind the celebration. Our teachers have explained the story of Smiley. A story followed by the celebration made our children hooked to this day. The day was a reminder to us to show gratitude in life. Children are never too young to learn the value of everything they have in life and show gratitude for them. In fact, this should become a daily practice. We use this day to teach them to be thankful. One of the things we all are thankful for our daily helpers. All celebrations should be fun to retain the spirit of the day. Our children were engaged with smiley-making craftwork. The day was loaded with fun and joy.
